The images made by James (above) and Echo (below) were used in a game of ocean-themed bingo for the uKalagalâk event. Not only did this game attract people from the community to join us at our event, it was also a fun and engaging way to communicate some of the work we do. Along with Inuttitut and English words, the artwork showed concepts, terms, and instruments that we use on the project, as well as items of cultural importance.
The Sustainable Nunatsiavut Futures logo was designed with inspiration from five logo competition winners, one from each of the Nunatsiavut communities, and the symbols they used to illustrate their homes. Click here to learn more about our logo.

Together, PhD candidate Cerren Richards and Inuk artist James Jacque created a velcro puzzle that illustrates the "Lenses of Knowledge" through which we work in this project: Inuit Knowledge and Western Science.
